The Habitat Assessment Unit is a science experiment part.
Used on planets/bodies to examine the habitability of the environment.
It will only collect science in the following situations and does not require an atmosphere:
FlyingLow, SrfSplashed, SrfLanded.

To use it for Endurance: Attach an Endurance docking part on the top of the Unit. Attach the docking part and unit to the underside of an Endurance part (onto ANOTHER Endurance docking part, you will will not be able to detach/undock the Unit!). When on or near the ground you can conduct the science experiment.
