Support for Docbook 5 export

There some tiny changes to make the exported xml compatible with docbook 5. I am most willing to provide these changes, but I do not know to whom. BTW I am impressed that the docbook export is now possible without stopping jabref and running the export from the command line.

Thanks for your offer! The docbook export is controlled by the docbook-xyz.layout files in https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/tree/master/src/main/resources/resource/layout . You can download these files and then modify them according to the changes required. The new files can be tested as any other custom exporter. Once you have a working copy, you can upload them here or create a proper pull request containing the new files (if you want proper attribution, but this is a bit more work: https://help.github.com/articles/creating-a-pull-request/).

the macro CreateDocBookAuthors is not part of the files related to docbook export. where may I find them?

The other points which needed changing have been changed.
I wonder whether there is a macro that decides about one, two/three, and four and more authors and puts the name accordingly without firstnames like Kleine (2018) or Kleine und Diez (2018) or Kleine, Kleine und Diez (2018) or Kleine et al. (2018). That would come very handy for the xreflabel when author-year citation is required. The "und" should be according to the language of the final output.

Hi, just add attach them here, we will incorporate that.
Regarding the Authors and editors, the macros used in the files refers to the function here:
It creates the xml structure with Firstname etc

I hope that will help. with the html format I was able to see the code not the organization of the page. for the formats the html commands were stripped.

@bernhard-kleine You need to click on the actual file, e.g. docbook-layout and then view raw, then you can see the actual xml content.
otherwise you will only get the html stuff from github.
