mononokebt: add vostfr checkbox for add to titles #10816
Conversation
We're actually replacing VOSTFR for a lot of indexers for the sake of Sonarr/Radarr compatibility - https://github.com/Jackett/Jackett/search?l=YAML&q=vostfr (e.g. #4546) If all results are English or original audio, but don't mention the language, adding VOSTFR will mean Sonarr/Radarr detect these as French (I think, I'm going on old issues for that). Is there a different approach needed? |
I don't get the sonarr/radarr compatibility issue ? |
The language in Sonarr/Radarr is for the audio, which would be the original language in this case, just with French subtitles. |
indeed, but in this cause how does sonarr know that the audio is Japanese ? |
Once the file is downloaded and imported Sonarr/Radarr uses the mediainfo of the file to detect the audio language, if one isn't provided in the title. If the mediainfo of the downloads on this tracker list the audio as Japanese, that would be how. If not, I think it defaults to English. Your use case makes sense though in terms of searching for results in the first place. |
I just noticed that mononokebt is on this list - #9544 Does the site use |
Hey sorry couldn't reply earlier, no mononokeBT does not have any multi release, it's a Fansub only french anime tracker Also when an anime is licenced in DVD or other support in france, torrents are removed from the tracker. |
Thanks, I'll make a note on the issue. |
mononoke BT lacked this option, all of the torrent there are in VOSTFR but given the sonarr config, you need or not VOSTFR
