SuperSlicr Photoshop Action v.2.0 by James Brocklehurst http://www.mightymeta.co.uk/superslicr-v2/ Copyright (c) 2011-13, MightyMeta. All rights reserved. -- Installation -- Drag and drop the superslicr2.atn file onto your Photoshop application icon. If this does not work, choose 'Load Actions' from the Actions Palette Contextual Menu and browse for the file. -- Usage -- (1) Either select the layers or create a rectangular marque for the image that you wish to export (2) Select the relevant export option (see below) from the SuperSlicr actions in the actions palette. (3) Run the action. (4) Check the export settings. (5) Name and save the image in the usual way. -- Options -- - Layers to 'JPEG (High)' will trim the selected layers to their pixel bounds and flatten them against your current background colour. - Layers to 'PNG-24 Standard' will trim the selected layers to their pixel bounds and place them against a transparent background. - Layers to 'PNG-24 iOS Scaling' will do the same as 'Standard' except it will generate both a standard and 'Retina' version of the image.* - Selection to 'JPEG (High)' will crop to the selected area and flatten the results against your current background colour. - Selection to 'PNG-24 Standard' will crop to the selected area and place the results against a transparent background. - Selection to 'PNG-24 iOS Scaling' will do the same as 'Standard' except it will generate both a standard and 'Retina' version of the image.* * It is important to note that the action assumes that the original file has been created to Retina proportions, as it performs a scale-down rather than scale-up. -- ChangeLog -- v2.0.1 20/10/2013 - Fixed bug that prevented PNG transparency. v2.0 16/09/2013 - Added ability to export from Rectangular Marque Selection. - Generated image documents are now closed automatically after image has been saved. - Reduction in number of steps needed to perform action. v1.1 29/07/2012 - updated URL to associated blog post in readme.txt v1.0 24/10/2011 - Action will now force appropriate transparent or coloured background for new document rather than default background. - Added iOS scaling export setting. v0.9 15/10/2011 - Fixed bug that caused Action to throw errors if other documents are open. v0.8 23/08/2011 - Renamed to SuperSlicr! - Action now non-destructive, selected Layers remain in original state after action has run. v0.5 04/05/2010 - First publicly available version of Action. -- Licence -- Redistribution and use in source and binary forms, with or without modification, are permitted provided that the following conditions are met: - Redistributions of source code must retain the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer. - Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer in the documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution. - Neither the name of MightyMeta nor the names of its contributors may be used to endorse or promote products derived from this software without specific prior written permission.
