Theme acts like "newline": true is set but it really isn't

This theme places my cursor in a newline, although "newline": true, isn't set in the theme. Adding "newline": false, makes no difference either. What am i doing wrong?

You only have a left and right block, so this is perfectly normal. The cursor will always be on a next line like this. If you adjust the second block to rprompt, your cursor will be after the first, left aligned block.
