Submit to CRAN

Would it be possible to submit 1.0 to CRAN now? I have a package that uses the features of 1.0 and cannot submit it to CRAN because of tippy.

Please understand that we are a bit in a limbo here: a major revision of tippy was announced a year ago, so I thought it would be good to adapt my syntax to it. But upload to CRAN did not happen, so all modifications using the changes cannot be uploaded to CRAN.

When you decided that you will stick to the old system, that's fine, I can regress to it. On the other hand, I did a check on tippy from github, and after removing htmlwidgets from Imports, there were no notes left.

If there is some other problem when uploading to CRAN, feel free to assign it to me.

Hi @JohnCoene, any progress with the CRAN submission? Similar to @dmenne, I also have a R package I'd like to submit to CRAN using tippy 1.0.0.
