I have added a plot recipe for creating marginal scatter plot. This type of scatter plot is required by some multivariate statistical analysis textbook (eg. Johnson RA, Wichern DW. Applied multivariate statistical analysis. Upper Saddle River, NJ: Prentice hall; 2002.)
