KanaSmash is a WebXR educational game I am designing to make practising hiragana and katakana both engaging and fun. This app is not for learning, it is for repetition of basic kana characters. Drawing inspiration from the classic Whac-A-Mole arcade game, players earn points by promptly pressing buttons that match the kana character to the displayed romaji within a set timeframe.
