The project GameIndustry includes several fields

  1. Github and Codeberg repositories to show transparency when it comes to filter/blocklists and give an overview for detailed changes
  2. The website gameindustry.eu on which most of the work takes place.

The goal of the site is to show interested consumers what happens on their devices. What data is sent by which program and how they can protect themselves.

This is done with reviews, code examples, descriptions of involved companies, a growing product search engine, self-written tools and many other content which is constantly updated and processed. Changes for each months can be seen on an own newspage and there is also an irregularly maintained RSS feed

  1. The use of Steam by Valve Corporation. Steam acts as a link with community functions and is used to reach consumers to the extent possible there. Exactly where products are sold and customers are NOT informed and often even lied to by manufacturers.
