When a file is edited outside of Komodo, it will detect a change and offer to reload. If cancelled, file is marked as modified.

In version 8.5.4, command File->Show Unsaved Changes can be used to show diff between file as on disk and as in editor buffer.

However in 9.0, it will not re-read file content from disk. It will only show changes that were done inside the editor.
