I made a proof-of-concept for images in lists and it works pretty well. At first glance images becomes loading faster (I didn't make any benchmark btw). However I have some concerns about this feature:

• Some manga sources rejects requests from this service (using CloudFlare protection, for example). This is not an issue, we can fallback to direct requests in this case
• It is not clear how to use it for manga pages. In case of covers the exact size is known but not in case of manga pages that can be zoomed
