Black Screen #56 Problem Solution NOT WORKING

• [x ] I am running the program as administrator

If you are using the command line, please give us the full traceback (any output that include errors you have), or an image of the traceback.

If you are using the GUI version, please make sure you can check this:

• [x ] I have the setting "Show Windows background picture on the sign-in screen" set to on (it is in Personalization->Lock Screen)

Also, please send a screen shot of any error dialog that may show up for the GUI version.

Finally, please provide any other information that you feel is relevant.

PROBLEM:
Hi all!
I need help wih this problem too. I followed the instructions, but when I type in DIR, it shows me that I have .pri and .BACKUP but it's still not starting normal!
Can you please help me fix this problem without reinstalling and loosing everything?

i had also a black screen after boot. just delete the C:\Windows\SystemResources\Windows.UI.Logon\Windows.UI.Logon.pri file and rename C:\Windows\SystemResources\Windows.UI.Logon\Windows.UI.Logon.pri.bak to Windows.UI.Logon.pri via notepad in the recovery console. how >> http://www.howtogeek.com/135005/how-to-use-a-windows-installer-disc-to-back-up-your-files-when-your-computer-wont-boot/

@Patta I did this, booted using recovery usb, renamed the .bak to restore the original. Problem is every i open the background changer (Admin) to change the background of my login screen, everything looks good in the program, it displays as if it should with the new image, i save the settings and lock the screen and all i get is this...
Winver = 1511 OS Build 10586.36

Update Windows to the newest build , login background changing is part of the system.

My windows10 1703 black screen, and with the command line security mode can not be the same black screen in the login screen. Trouble released in the end this project to support those versions of windows10, a lot of people appear this situation.

@fujiwara-takumi you are not supposed to use this tool with later versions of Windows. Later versions have support in an option in settings. have you tried the solutions provided for black screens?
