Obtaining current trunk

For those interested, a tarball of the current trunk is pushed to LLNL’s FTP server at 11pm the 1rst and 15th day of every month and should be available for a few days following from ftp://ftp.llnl.gov/outgoing/miller86/silo-trunk.tar.gz.

Note that the way LLNL’s FTP servers work is that files put there remain available there for just a few days before they are automagically removed. So, if you can’t seem to access this URL late in the week, that is probably why.
