1857 representative complete ORF1 sequences are assigned to 178 Betatorquevirus species divided into 10 phylogenetic groups (A-H , J and K).

ICTV species "Betatorquevirus homini5" and "Betatorquevirus homini22" are grouped together, the same applies to "Betatorquevirus homini12" and "Betatorquevirus homini26".
