[FEATURE] NextCloud 20 Dashboard Notification Widget #336
Labels
Comments
Hi, Thanks for submitting. Those are some great ideas. I don't have a lot of experience with NextCloud so this might take some time to explore. |
The nextcloud dashboard he mentions is pretty new, just alpha in the moment i think, but looks great. to be usable from nextcloud leantime needs an full featured api... |
Got it. Api might take some time. Still exploring best options without
rewriting a lot of core code.

Lol, you tell me. We are going to start with simple webhooks and then
expand from there.

My opinion is that "you certainly cannot have too many notification channels..." and I'm sticking to it. Outside of the regular email notifications and connecting to external services like Slack, it would be great to have a place where LeanTime notifications are always showing the latest and greatest to keep the person in check.
Describe the solution you'd like
...Now with NextCloud 20, the dashboard interface is properly used finally. A few widgets currently exist to show notifications across a few select third-party apps (Twitter, Zammad). It would be amazing to see a LeanTime widget to show all of the notifications across all projects! Examples could be upcoming ToDos, new ideas, or maybe even mentions in the discussion areas within ToDos.
Another one worth mentioning is the unified search within NextCloud 20. If there was a way to search from NextCloud everything within LeanTime, that would be even more awesome. Everything from client names, to projects, ToDo items, etc...
Thank you for listening! 🖖
