They are completely outdated and would do more harm than good if someone follows them. Its also necessary to rely on an old version of mdbook which needs to be built from source.
After removing translations, we can use official mdbook releases again, and rely on prebuilt binaries which is much faster for ci and easier for users.
Later we can use #171 for translations.
