feature request : undo tree

Emacs has a good way to move through undos/redos in a tree-like fashion. Would it be possible to implement this for LightTable?

As far as I understand, LightTable is brought-together by Electron...

I could help write such a plugin if someone could direct me to the proper resources (coming from js/html/css/clojure land)

It should be possible to implement something similar to what you are describing as a plugin. The following are resources you may be interested in checking out:

Additionally, checking out how existing plugins are written can be useful too.

If you have questions on how to proceed, or feel parts of the documentation are vague, then please give us feedback in our Gitter. We are currently attempting to improve all levels of documentation on the user, developer, and plugin-author side of Light Table... any feedback about unclear areas is beneficial.

@rundis will be the most helpful as he has written several plugins previously, but I am happy to assist as well.
