Before, generating thumbnails for videos in particular was quite slow, taking time measured in the seconds for each image. This is now much, much faster.

Media Sort Alpha 10

Introduce GPG signing and verification for update packages. This massively reduces the attack surface from potential Man-in-the-Middle-attacks.

Also adds back the ability to restore the last selected media from before the rewrite. This will especially be helpful for users that want to stop in the middle of going through a very large folder without losing where they were.
