Here's a speedup for mantiuk08 tmo
I measured on my rusty AMD FX8350 8-core using a 42.3 MP file with default settings for mantiuk08.
Old code: ~11.5 seconds
New code: ~2.9 seconds
Edit: I just pushed another small speedup
Processing time is ~2.7 seconds now
