This is more of a request then an issue.

Is it possible to create a hotkey function for switching the screen capturing to a specific picture?
Because sometimes when I stream I need to do stuff that I don't want the viewers to see, like sending passwords and stuff.
It would be awesome to have a hotkey to switch to a "be right back" picture instead of pausing the stream so I can keep doing what I am doing while the viewers can still hear me talk or play music while they wait.

I hope this is possible and not to hard to do. Keep up the good work!

I like it. The first thing that comes to mind when I thought about it was
veggie tales little Joe when bob and Larry are arguing about what story to
do. :)
It would also be cool If you could switch to a different window like from
Minecraft to a browser without dragging the window into view.

I could turn this into a special case, but I would like to keep things generic where possible. That means this would fall under scene switching which is not supported yet (since multiple video inputs aren't even supported yet).

This would be an excellent feature. It does sound very much like a subset of scene switching.

Perhaps it would be possible to implement this as scene switching to a still input as one of the steps toward a full scene switching implementation which doesn't require multiple video inputs to be in place already? A hotkey to cycle through preset inputs would be a good feature for scene switching anyway.

anyone interested, this can be done in obs-studio. ;) I love ssr but obs-studio has all the features I require like scene switching, webcam overlay, background overlay, can capture any pulseaudio sink and many others. ssr was my go to recording/streaming software for the longest time up until the obs dev's did the rewrite which added multi-platform support because obs used to only work on windows

Just to clarify to anyone reading this. I am not advertising or trying to steer users away from SSR, I was merely trying to inform users of alternative solutions. I apologize if it came across as advertising. I won't mention that other software anymore. SSR is awesome at what it does where as the other software can only create .flv files which are not friendly for editing. ;)
