In mapserver / INSTALL.CMAKE, it is stated that the separator character for paths is semicolon (;).

You can specify multiple prefixes on the cmake command line by separating them with a semi-colon

According to http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/CMake_Useful_Variables, the separator character is "platform specific" "(e.g. ":" on UNIX)".
