If there are no files for a particular student, you have a rotating animation and it looks like the system is trying to fetch the file forever.

Somewhat related issue: the check for required files is not being done after file upload is confirmed. It is currently possible to upload a dummy file and "stop" the uploading processes, and trick MarkUs into processing the submission even though no file is actually attached.

Can someone confirm whether this is a bug? Since empty submissions are allowed.

Accidentally pushed it to the wrong branch, but I've fixed this (still getting used to this Git thing...): https://github.com/arkon94/Markus/commit/b18e69f0fb937a43ba4c90f305aa73da6322a867

Seems to be part of this pull request instead? #1420
