As the config options reads: disableInlineCopyToClipBoard, which effectifly means this style:

With the exampleSite :

after the corrections by pasting all in one line, it's ok

in config.toml I added the line disableLandingPageButton = true

First: Your Hugo version is almost a year old. The theme is usually tested with the latest version of Hugo. All new features are tested with the latest version. hugo serve with the latest version works for me on Windows without any errors.

Second: There is no build in way to get rid of the "copy to clipboard" marker in block code but you are free to modify the CSS to your likings as described in the themes documentation. Note: This is only my assumption of the things you wanted to achieve on the few things you wrote. I may be wrong on this.

Third: disableLandingPageButton has nothing to do with the "copy to clipboard" feature. Please read the themes documentation and ask concrete questions to get proper support.
