Oh no! It seems I was a bit of a clutz and accidentally everything!

This new version fixes the crashes people were having with 1.17. The cause was an issue with Kirin (and MSON) so if you don't wish to update all of your mods, you can just install the updated versions of those two libraries instead.

Changelog

  • Updated Kirin (fixed crash at startup)
  • Updated MSON (fixed boot loop at startup)

Changelog

  • Minimum Java version 16
  • Ponified armour stands are now fully ponified
  • Added a button to access he skinning gui from the minelp settings screen and visa versa
  • Added a tooltip on the pony settings button
  • The skinning gui will now show hints for the detected trigger pixel values and their available options
  • Fixed some broken zombie textures
  • Fixed skin preview showing background ponies when given a broken skin
  • Fixed derped riptide animation

For Modders

  • Add an event for when a pony skin's data is resolved for the player. Requested by @databyte
    • Mine Little Pony will now trigger an event on the client and server when a player's skin is first resolved. (see: PonyDataCallback) This event will include both the player (as sender) which generated the event, and the full IPonyData object with the relevant trigger pixel values pre-parsed.
    • Servers not running Fabric can receive the same event by listening for the minelittlepony:pony_data custom packet. The buffer will contain all of the relevant information needed to reconstruct a IPonyData instance. For the relevant structure (code you can use to deserialize it, check over here.
  • Improve modding support for adding custom gear
    • Other mods can now register their own gear to be used by Mine Little Pony. This can be used to implement features such as socks, bows, ribbons, or bracelets.
  • Several other components have also been moved to the /api/ package (mainly to facilitate the changes for @databyte. I've tried my best to keep everything separated, so you can add add these and use them on a server if you need to! Ideally, just JiJ of MineLP should do the trick.

From HDSkins

  • Fixed crash when trying to use a dedicated seapony skin

It's always the ones that go out with little fan-fare that go unnoticed... Or something like this.

This is a little olde bugfix update to resolve some issues in the last version of Mine Little Pony. Check below for what changed, and happy August. :)

Changelog

  • Updated Mson (should fix compatibility with LilTater Reloaded - keep partying, lil spud) #173
  • Fixed the magic rendering on shields (again) (thanks, Mojang) #174
  • Fixed incompatibility with the Sandwichable mod!
Textures for the sandwich maker will be assumed to be at minelittlepony:textures/entity/villager/pony/.../sandwichable_sandwich_maker.png
I suggest adding these textures in with a resourcepack if you don't want them to end up looking like nitwit ponies. ;)
  • Various tweaks to the taiga (batpony) villagers added in the last updated
  • Fixed seapony tail fins being flipped.
This was a bug that went unnoticed for a while, and was definitely an unintended change. If you previously changed your seapony skin to work with the previous version, you may have to change them back. Sorry.
