This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.
With the help of Azure cognitive service.
- call translate api
- show translated word to the screen
- adding naviagtion for single page application
- Make nice UI - (I tried)
- login?? - maybe using Auth0
- Add content for other pages
Assumption: you already have nodeJS installed
- Open the terminal then run
npm install
to install all dependencies - Getting Azure translate text Api key from here
- Create a environment variable:
- Navigate to backend folder
- Create a new file and name it .env - has to be exact name
- open the file using your favourite code editor then add
azureKey=YOUR_KEY_IN_HERE
- Open your terminal.
- Navigate into directory of the project
- run this command
npm start
- Open web browser
localhost:WHATEVER_THE_PORT_THE_TERMINAL_SAY
A: Just for fun
I did this for learn more about cloud computing and getting used to call api from the "cloud"
A: I hope not. But this is just a simple little project so I think they won't do anything
In the project directory, you can run:
Runs the app in the development mode
The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.
Builds the app for production to the build
folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.
The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!
