Data Gone from iPhone Upgrade?

Never used KeePass on my computer, just minikee pass app. I upgraded my iphone from 6plus to 6S plus. Everything in Minikeepass is gone and the app is asking for a new database to be set up.

Was it backing up to iCloud? If so did you restore from iCloud?
