The EFP Discord is the best place to find support quickly

Remember to install ALL updates found in the EFP Discord

Crashes

  • If you crash, post your .log file to one of the EFP Discord's Support channels. Be sure to post to the proper channel depending on if you're playing default EFP or your own modded version of EFP.
    • Your .log file will be in your Anomaly\appdata\logs folder. Attach this file to your Discord post, or if your log is too big then upload it to a file hosting site.

Customizing Your Modlist

  • EFP uses Mod Organizer (MO2) to manage mods. To open MO2, go to your EFP folder and run ModOrganizer.exe.
    • All mods that are installed will be shown in the left-hand pane.
      • Search for mods by using the Filter searchbar near the bottom-center of Mod Organizer.
    • The right-hand pane is what gets loaded into your game every time you launch EFP.
      • The stuff in the right-hand pane is based on the order of the mods in the left-hand pane.
  • You can add your own mods to EFP or remove mods from EFP without having to reinstall. That's the beauty of Mod Organizer.
    • Keep in mind that many mods have conflicting files, which is why EFP contains so many patches.
    • If you remove a mod from EFP, you must make sure to remove all patches related to the mod
      • EFP mods that have patches use an acronym in their name, for example the Weapon Parts Overhaul mod is named Weapon Parts Overhaul (WPO). So to remove Weapon Parts Overhaul correctly you must search for WPO and remove all mods/patches that have WPO in their name.
    • If you add a mod to EFP, you will need to check for file conflicts. If there are file conflicts then you will need to look up a patch or make one yourself.
      • Detailed guides to patching are found in the EFP Discord. There are also a number of talented people willing to help you build your own patches.

Notes About Performance

  • All tips and patches to raise performance are posted on the EFP Discord. Be sure to check there every so often to get the latest improvements.

How To Find An EFP File With Mod Organizer

  • See the picture below. This example shows a script file, but you can follow the same steps to search for any EFP mod file.
  • The file you're looking for will be in the GAMEDATA FOLDER, NOT THE MODS FOLDER
