Getting Started

The program consists of 2 components:

• The switch program (switch-remote-play)
• The PC program (switch-remote-play-host)
  • Includes 2 executables: switch-remote-play-host.exe + ffmpeg.exe

Compatibility

Tested on:

• Atmosphere 0.16.2 - FW 10.1.0 (switch-remote-play 0.9.0)
• Atmosphere 0.19.5 - FW 10.1.0 (switch-remote-play 1.0.0)

Your Switch must be using Atmosphere CFW. SX OS is not supported.

Switch Installation

1. Make sure you are running Atmosphere custom firmware on your Switch. (SX OS is not officially supported.)
2. Copy the switch folder to the root directory of your Switch SD card
   • Don't disconnect your SD card yet. In the Switch Network Config Setup page, we will be editing the network.ini file. Once that's edited, feel free to disconnect your SD card from your PC and boot the program.

PC Installation

1. Have Windows 10 64 bit

2. Download and install Screen Capture Recorder to Video Windows free v0.12.11

3. Download and install ViGEm Bus v1.16.116

4. Copy the switch-remote-play-host folder from the PC folder to anywhere you like (Downloads, Desktop, Documents, etc...)

What's next?

Make sure Windows Security didn't delete the program from the zip file or the 7zip file downloaded from the release page. If it did, please see the Windows Security page on how to whitelist the program.
