This is crucial! I actually reverted back to V1 because my icons refuse to stay hidden. I only want them to show when I click or use a shortcut.

#22 would fix my frustration too.

It seems like every time I look at the menu bar with V2, the icons are exposed.

Mortenn is working on it, anyway the application does what it says ... hides the icons and shows them again when pozar the mouse on the menu bar ... but the option to click again to show the app icons is great

I will start working on it for the next update.

I have added a new feature in v2.1 where you click the menu bar (where there are no other icons) to show the menu icons, so the "hover"-feature is now only optional. I thought that was a more convenient way. Please let me know if it solves your problem.
