Blur effect triggers very abruptly when focus hits a foreground object #672

Unsure if this is fixable or just a consequence - never noticed quite how much it sticks out before :-)

Looking at a background scene that's fairly clear and then moving the cursor just to hit a block or some billboard grass (maybe more noticable) in the foreground immediately applies the full blur effect.

Not 3d wizard so unsure if there's an easy solution, but thought I'd ask :D

Addendum: blur seems to toggle on its own repeatedly when the game starts struggling at low FPS. Wondering if maybe it relates to the way blur is calculated or what not. Wanted to mention it here since it might be something to look at the same time :-)

This was fixed a while ago by #1429 - closing
