Welcome to the genes_gmd wiki!
This is a portable package of scripts and fortran programs that have been designed to work with the WAVEWATCH III® wave modeling frame-work to perform genetic optimization of the free parameters of the Generalized Multiple DIA (GMD, Eiben and Smith, 2003; Tolman, 2010, 2013; Tolman and Grumbine, 2013).
The WAVEWATCH III® code is also on github and can be found at https://github.com/NOAA-EMC/WW3
