Feature request for 2 new Macros called $LASTHARDSERVICESTATE$ and $LASTHARDHOSTSTATE$ to be added to Core. #619
Comments
Hi, Three months ago we made the request for this development and we do not have any kind of news. Could you update us the state in which the development of this solution is? Many thanks for your work. |
This won't be added until one of the next minor releases (such as Core 4.5) which isn't likely to be out until later this year. |
Hi, Is there a provision to fix this bug? Thank you. |
Hi @gesnus, I don't consider this a bug, but I've added the task to the 4.5 milestone. |
Hi, I still have this problem, is there any foresight for the development of the solution? Thank you very much |
Hello, I just asked this exact question to Nagios XI support and they pointed me to this 2 year old pending feature request. Thank you. |
We will wait for them to include it in their roadmap. Thank you. |
Good afternoon. Is there any news about this topic by any chance? We've been trying to do something like this while is not implemented, but is not working as we would like. Please, if you can give us any information of when will this feature be released, we would appreciate it. Thank you kindly. |
I am looking to get 2 new macros added to Nagios Core.
$LASTHARDSERVICESTATE$
They would be called
A description if what it is.
A string indicating the last Hard state of the service ("OK", "WARNING", "UNKNOWN", or "CRITICAL").
A description if what it is.
A string indicating the last Hard state of the host ("UP", "DOWN", or "UNREACHABLE") .
They are slightly different from the existing macros as they will only have the Hard stare information in them and not the Soft state.
