Server Requirements

KiteBoard supported and is tested on the following Minecraft versions:

• 1.8.8
• 1.12.2
• 1.13.2
• 1.14.4
• 1.15.2
• 1.16

Other versions may work although support is not guaranteed.

Recommended Hardware Requirements:

• 3.0GHz or above quad core processor.
• 2GB of ram or above.
• High bandwidth broadband connection.

Firewall

For update checking and debug reporting, KiteBoard will make connections to SpigotMC.org for update checking. This is not a requirement but may be useful for receiving updates.

As of 6th July 2019. The debug report server has been decommissioned. Debug reports are now unavailable in KiteBoard versions that support the legacy debug system. A new form of error reporting will be introduced across newer versions of KiteBoard.

Scoreboard width

The following line widths are supported depending on your version:

• MC 1.7.10 - 1.12.2: 32 Characters (Including colour codes)
• MC 1.13 - Present (KiteBoard 2.x) : 128 Characters (Including colour codes)
• MC 1.13 - Present (KiteBoard 3.x) : Unlimited line characters.
• All versions are limited to 15 maximum lines.
