Packet.com accounts
The NixOS org has two accounts on Packet.com:
Totally comped, but only spawn spot servers. If we need permanent infrastructure, we need to reach out first. Talk to Graham. Any existing permanent servers are okay.
Only "hardware team" people should have access to this project: adding other users can accidentally get their SSH keys added to the servers' root accounts.
Users with access must use 2FA.
Spot instances are comped 100%. Do NOT spawn permanent servers under any circumstances, these are paid at the advertised rate. Bandwidth is billed. Avoid doing heavy network tasks, prefer doing them on the Sponsored Build account.
Graham is the billing contact.
If a community member needs a big build machine, it is okay to create a spot machine here for that user. Prefer creating a server and adding their SSH key by hand over adding a community member to the org.
