Firefox don't open certain URLs when reopening

Describe the bug
When i close firefox and open it again, it should recover the last session. That's how i configured it.

But not all URLs are loaded again.

Look at the "New Tab" with the cookie icon. That tab should load https://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/ but it's just an empty tab after i opened the browser. It happens quiet often with this URL.

The second "New Tab" in the background had the URL https://github.com/NixOS/nixos-search/blob/main/import-scripts/import_scripts/packages-config.nix#L41

Maybe it's an upstream issue?

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

I'm not sure how to reproduce it, but it happens quiet often.

Maybe in the situation where RAM+SWAP are full and firefox crashes, these tabs are not saved correctly, because they have heavy javascript activity.

I couldn't reproduce it by just opening and closing the browser. Even killing it didn't lead to issues.

Expected behavior
All firefox tabs are restored

Which Add-Ons do you have installed/active? I have:

• I don't care about cookies
• Privacy Badger
• uBlock Origin

Currently only Tab Counter since its not my main browser. I had the issue also without any extensions.

I have seen this recently Firefox 86.0 from Ubuntu as well. Back/prev buttons in the toolbars are inactive but I can still get the page by using back and prev buttons on my mouse.

I usually duplicate the tab and close the old one to resolve this issue. (Right click on the tab > Duplicate)
