Part of the fixup for a stdenv.mkDerivation package is to move files from ./lib64 to ./lib. This should be documented in the Nixpkgs manual under the https://nixos.org/nixpkgs/manual/#ssec-fixup-phase section.

But it would definitely be useful to document them.
