Issue description

The beancount pkg fails to install since it was upgraded to 3.1.6 in 5b91e4a due to missing pytest dependency with the following message:

No matching distribution found for pytest

I am not very familiar with python and I am unsure of the nature of this failure. The pkg definition seems to disable running the tests with doCheck = false;, but it still requires the pytest pkg to build for some reason.

Steps to reproduce

  • nix-shell -p beancount
  • Adding beancount to the system pkgs in configuration.nix and trying to build the system.
