Exact steps to cause this issue

  • Start from a clean installation of nodebb from master
  • Go to /admin/plugins/markdown#section3
  • Enable "line numbers" for all languages and save
  • Create a post with the content (it seems that in code blocks with more than one line this is fine):
    ```
    const
    ```
  • Try to click the copy button, it will appear that the code has been copied, but nothing has actually been copied

What you expected

The code will be copied to the clipboard

What happened instead
