I've noticed it before and shrugged it off, but after having the tab open for about an hour, it's almost unusable (500ms lags on every button click, choppy animations).

When I am in the ACP, my CPU fan spins up, even when the main dashboard is not open. The slowdown occurs over time, and happens even when I am not on the dashboard screen, so something seems to be leaking...

Am testing to see if this happens if I don't pass through the dashboard and head directly to a specific page via cold load...

imo time for you to buy a new computer :D

yeah I think this could be fixed by disabling real-time updates if you switch to another tab etc
