I just upgraded from ubuntu 15.04 to 16.04. I really really did try to do this on my own, but I can't, I have been at it for a day.

I had rutorrent running for a couple of years, but it broke with the last ubuntu update.
rtorrent is running fine but when open rutorrent (remotely) I get:

[09.05.2016 21:04:07] WebUI started.
[09.05.2016 21:04:08] Bad response from server: (404 [error,list]) <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>404 Not Found</title> </head><body> <h1>Not Found</h1> <p>The requested URL /RPC2 was not found on this server.</p> <hr> <address>Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu) Server at 192.168.0.156 Port 80</address> </body></html>

transroid stopped working too. I think it has something to do with the scgi port, but I really don't know any more.
Apache2 - 2.4.18

Already first remove your IP from your error message ..

Then did you restart apache, php etc ... ?

Try to configure your web-server properly. Check project's wiki.
Or try to use plugin httprpc (or rpc) instead usage of /RPC2 mount point.
