+This module was written to extend the functionality of Odoo contacts manager to
+support setting the gender of a partner.
+
+Installation
+============
+
+To install this module, you need to:
+
+* Install the `partner-contact`_ repository.
+

+Usage
+=====
+
+To use this module, you need to:
+
+* Edit a partner or create a new one.
+* Ensure the partner is **not** a company.
+* Go to the *Personal information* sheet.
+* Set the gender there.
