It would be nice to not only change the target schema, but also supplement the source schema with information (such as documentation) if it is available. Unfortunately, most source dataset documentation is not in a machine-readable format, so we're unlikely to frequently use this feature with source data, but it might be something to keep in mind while designing the solution to this issue. If the solution can be easily generalized to both the target and source schemas, I say we go for it. |

…ng databases Adds to #44 by keeping field to field mappings within table mappings (comments and logic text) when swapping between databases (schemas). It will keep mappings between schema's whose table names and field names match.

During the March F2F, we decided it would be nice to try out potential CDM changes in a “sandbox implementation”. In order for us to build an ETL spec document against a “sandbox” CDM, we need the ability to load the schemas for those sandbox CDMs into RiaH.
At least in the short term I don’t envision a user being able to add/remove schema information directly in RiaH. Instead a user would need to prepare a “schema file” or something that can then be loaded into RiaH.
