XML Feeds per content type

We need to provide XML feeds for at least Foundation News type so we can aggregate articles on that category in the OSGeo planet.

Maybe other contents are also worth to be exposed as feeds but I'm less aware of them to have an opinion.

Current feed appears empty.

Is the community-news page the same content as planet?

@jodygarnett the community news is fed by the planet RSS I believe, so it's duplicated content in fact.

It could be really useful to have https://www.osgeo.org/foundation-news/ reported there.
