V1.21.0
[Enhancement] / [BugFix]
- #124 change from
octoprint.comm.protocol.gcode.sending
tooctoprint.comm.protocol.gcode.queuing
. Now the communication between OP and the printer is not affected (communication thread not involved)
If you still have some issues with the print-quality and you think it is related to this plugin and not related to:
- Raspberry CPU/RAM performance (try to use a "full pc")
- Underpowered-Raspi (switch to a min. 3A power-supply)
- USB-Cable issue (interferences) (try to use a shielded and/or short-cable)
- Faulty filament-sensor (disconnect all additional Hardware)
- Firmware-Issue (update to newest version)
- Printer Command-Buffer to small (increate command-buffer in Firmware)
Instead of disabling the whole plugin, you can also disable the Printer-Display communication in the plugin-settings.
This prevents that the Plugin sends additional M117 GCode messages during the print, that (maybe) slow down the data-transfer rate during OP and the printer.
The Web-UI will be updated as before.

This plugin, as well as my other plugins were developed in my spare time.
If you like it, I would be thankful about a cup of coffee :)
