Moved from https://github.com/jrosindell/OneZoomComplete/issues/445 :

Even if the IUN status is "NE", because e.g. there is no IUCN info for the elephant bird, it has extinction_date in the DB set to 0.005, so should be shown in black.

We probably don't need to show the words "IUCN conservation status" or whatever in this case.
