Start menu items either do not load or render invisible [Windows 7] #1023

Describe the bug
Start menu items and user profile image are invisible when running on windows 7 64-bit. As seen in the screenshots section.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Run Open Shell.
  2. Click or press on the Windows button to bring up the start menu.
  3. See error.

Expected behavior
Start menu icons are expected to be visible, or an error stating that start menu icons cant be shown.

Version:

  • Open-Shell: 4.4.160
  • OS: Windows 7 home premium, Version 6.1 (build 7601: Service pack 1)

Additional context
This Operating system was freshly installed and not yet activated.

Same happen for me.
Windows Server 2008 R2 (Win7 based), build 7601 SP1.
I have desktop environment installed, this system is basically Win7 enterprise, although I might have some libraries not installed.
I don't think I had this issue with Classic shell back in 2015..

Could you try installing Classic Shell 4.3.1 and seeing if the issue persists?

Oh I forgot I had this. I honestly already move this particular machine to Tiny10 and it works great now.

I know it's late, but the issue is fixed for my Server 2008 box on the latest version.
