+OpenMDAO 3.3.0 features some changes to the setup/configure stack that
+are intended to make it easier to implement complex models in OpenMDAO.
+
+The new group method `get_io_metadata` is available from the `configure`
+method of Groups.  During setup, a Group's configure method is run
+after the setup methods of all children have been run.
+The `get_io_metadata` method allows one to inquire about the inputs and outputs
+within the Group and its descendents.  For instance, it can be used to find the names,
+units, and shapes of inputs and outputs in the descendent components of a Group.
+
+A new Differential Evolution driver has been added.
+This driver is for use on problems with continuous design variables,
+and is roughly 3x faster than the existing Simple GA Driver.
