@salbahra , did you ever do the calc to see if $0.0001/call was materially different to the OWM $40/month ? Obviously, DarkSky provides access to historical data that more closely resembles the old WU approach. I've been tracking DarkSky for awhile and it is slightly better than OWM for hyper-local weather.

Obviously, the approach @bensweet86 is using offloads the cost problem as the end-users need to get their own api key.

The pull request was a wrong command late at night.. Been running OSpi with Dark Sky integration for the summer (in Australia), worked much more reliably than the equivalent data from OWM for my area. From memory this came up in the forums and https://darksky.net/dev/docs/faq#sublicensing was the issue with what I have done...

Yep, good for developers but no good for end-users. Thanks for the confirmation.
