@PhantomYdn Thank You! Orienteer Server started with above docker compose file. As per our Project requirements we need to try the camunda Workflows with OrientDB and we got the below reference Please let me know if you can share some documentation to install the orienteer-bpm module and Camunda forms integrations. |

@PhantomYdn As per above mentioned steps i'm able to add orienteer-bpm module to Orienteer server but after Realoading Orinteer getting below Error |
Interesting... Do you have windows machine or Linux for docker? Also please try |
i'm using windows machine with docker-desktop (Docker version 20.10.5, build 55c4c88) Also orienteer docker container stopper and restarted but still getting same error shared in above screenshot docker Logs
|
Thank you! Checking. Please give ~24 hours. |
@SameerChorge94 , I was not able to reproduce problem from what you have provided so far... Could you please help to naildown the problem further?
|
@PhantomYdn Please find the attached zip for runtime directory Also i followed the above docker-compose.yaml file Also I tried the above steps again after pulling fresh image, but getting same error and not able to deploy orienteer-bpm Module |
Seems that you specified some password for Orienteer uses embedded OrientDB, so there is no need to specify external OrientDB, unless it has to be external. In this cases there are 2 suboptions: either move OrientDB under Orienteer and allow it to manage db, or deploy some Orienteer functions/methods to external OrientDB as plugin. But, to test it our: I recommend to keep it simple: use embedded OrientDB.
Did you delete I have tried to reproduce with recent code: no luck - works as expected:) P.S. Btw, in attempt to retry, I recommend to delete lines with |
@PhantomYdn As mentioned in above comment i removed the passwords that i mentioned in yaml's environment section
with this also i'm not able to load the Orinteer BPM module, find the below logs for docker-compose
|
Yes i have maven installed with below version
Please find attachments for |
@SameerChorge94 , I see that maven-repository doesn't contain required jar files: only pom.xml files. Seems I know how to reproduce this behaviour. In meanwhile: here is a workaround which should work.
|
@PhantomYdn I tried the ebpve steps but facing error after executing Check the complete logs after executing mvn clean package command
|
@SameerChorge94 , OrientDB (and as a result Orienteer) requires still Java 8. And above I saw that default your jdk is Java 13. Please try to run under Java 8. Btw, I just realized that this was a reason why orienteer-standalone failed for you... |
Just to avoid other problems: I suspect that after attempt to run OrientDB under 13 - created DB should be actually broken. So I suggest to remove it from disk physically. |
@PhantomYdn
Also Orinteer-Module also loaded |
@SameerChorge94 , it's more or less the same as Camunda. Just go to BPMProcessDefinition, define your new process and use it. Orienteer BPM also supports user tasks: so you can assign some forms to users to complete. We can have some demo and I will show you. We can setup something for Monday for example. During retest of the BPM I found few issues with OrientDB 3.10 - will fix that shortly. |
Short instructions:
Orienteer supports scripting (don't forget to specify scriptFormal for camunda), user tasks, variable, forms and other key functions of camunda. |
Hello
I'm trying to setup the orienteer standalone server as per documentation,
https://orienteer.gitbooks.io/orienteer/content/installation_as_standalone_application.html
As per the folder structure
https://github.com/OrienteerBAP/Orienteer
Steps:
1: Building orienteer server
I build the orienteer-bpm/ orienteer-standalone/ orienteer-war
directories separately by using the maven install and package commands respectively
mvn clean install
mvn package
as per logs the build was success
2. Running Orienteer server
Added the Orienteer.properties file in a directory
https://github.com/OrienteerBAP/Orienteer/blob/master/orienteer-core/src/main/resources/orienteer-default.properties
added the generated build jar file into directory
and executed the below command respectively as per docs
java -Xmx512m -Xms512m -jar orienteer-standalone.jar
After running the above command for starting standalone server getting runtime exception and not able to load the orinteer server dashboard
check below Screenshots and error logs for same
Error Stack Trace:
Java Version:
Orienteer Server :
downloaded from below URL
https://github.com/OrienteerBAP/Orienteer/releases/tag/v1.5
Can anyone suggest the steps or proper workaround for running the same
As per our requirements i need to check the Orienteer + camunda workflow engine for which we need the orinteer server
