Because applets are embedded into the main ARTIQ process (even if they are not docked), interacting with the main plot after opening a subplot tends to obscure the latter with other applets or the main dashboard window. We should set the always on top window hint to avoid that.

Alternatively, we could show subplots tiled in the same window.
